Delta to re-enter India with non-stop daily New York– Mumbai service

Delta first offered service between the U.S. and Mumbai beginning in 2006, but was forced to suspend the service in 2009 as subsidized carriers made the route untenable.

Delta Air Lines is re-entering the India market on December 22, 2019, with nonstop daily service from New York-JFK to Mumbai International Airport, since it last flew to India in 2015.
