Four AAI airports recognised for reducing carbon footprint


Airports can participate at 4 levels of accreditation of - Level 1: Mapping, Level 2: Reduction, Level 3: Optimisation, Level 4: Neutrality.


Airports Council International (ACI) has announced that four Airport Authority of India international airports Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Varanasi, and Trivandrum have met all the requirements to upgrade to Level 2: “Reduction” by reducing the carbon emissions at airports.
